Commercial Description:
A medium bodied India Pale Ale, dry hopped to provide a very pleasing flora, citrus aroma. Well balanced between malty sweetness and hop bitterness. A very thirst quenching IPA.

On tap at Flat Street in Brattleboro. Very little hop or malt aroma in this one, very mild in the nose - perhaps a brewery trait or just poor handling by Flat Street? No off flavors with a bit of caramel. Hazy amber-orangish, with wispy off-white lacing head. Medium watery body with medium carbonation. Soft IPA. Good amount of maltiness and not overly sweet. A little bit of flowery hops and grapefruit essence in the finish and just a little bitterness. Kind of juicy. Nothing very strong, though. Clean after with a little bitterness in the end. Reminds me more of a Pale Ale than an IPA.

Bomber shared with KAggie below.Cloudy typical IPA color. Lots of pink grapefruit and surprisingly light hop flavor. Light, crisp finish that makes it easy to drink for an IPA.

Bottle shared with Zinister, pre-DFH tasting at Flying Saucer. Thanks for sharing, dude! Pours a cloudy but thin amber with an aroma of floral grapefruit. Subtle mix of cherry/cranberry/grapefruit in the flavor. Average mouthfeel. Very drinkable, but not spectacular.

Poured an effervescent golden with a fizzy/forthy white head. Aroma is lightly floral with some orange citrus. Flavor is some light bitter citrus and grass hops with a lot of toffee, with a light finish that’s decorated with a touch of bitter dryness. I reiterate many previous observations of this beer that it is not especially hoppy. I’d fly well as an APA and perhaps even a hoppy amber. Nothing really off about this beer and it is certainly drinkable enough, but pertaining to its listed style it is disappointing.

22 oz. bottle pured into a stein. Had a malty aroma. Small head with thin mouthfeel. Taste was not very hoppy, and thus not very IPA like. Not a bad beer, but not something I’m anxious to try again. Left something to be desired (hint... hops)

Pours a murky golden orange with a 1 finger, tight off white head. Aromas of some pine. Taste of subtle hops that leads to a thin mouth feel. Dry finish. Good IPA.

Effervescent amber with a thick frothy head. Malty, candy apple aroma with slight grass in the background. Kind of malty, slightly sweet with some citric twang. Lingering sweetness. If they called this a pale ale it would be a winner, but is rather underhopped for an IPA. Nevertheless, it is a decent quaffer.
