A deep golden coloured beer with understated hops in the aroma. The taste is hoppy but there is a sweetness to it reminiscent of honey flavours. The sharp hops do come through but they don’t really stick around. harrisoni (6828), Ashford, Kent, England

Some hop and fruit, bit of tea, dryish hoppy finish intensifies. Amber colour, not bad, but after half a dozen USA IPAs the sickly cloying nature of them becomes a bit much ABUSEDGOAT (1934), California, USA

A jackass pour gave a large head, but nothing insane. Aroma is very fruity and hoppy. This is probably the fruitiest IPA I have ever had. Grapefruit and citrus for sure, maybe even pears. However, something felt lacking in the overall flavor. It didn’t have a lot of bite, nor did it get syrupy - which was unfortunate. A step above from the typical microbrew APA. Mild citrusy hop aroma. Flavor is mild citrus, semi light. Light yeastiness and mildly bitter in the finish. Lightly earthy finish also. This is a decent small scale IPA. tiggmtl (4311), Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada

Hazy, tan-orange with low but lasting ring of white head. Doughy yeast and biscuity malts battle for second billing behind the orange-grapefruit-citrus hops that are appropriately the star of this show. Medium body with moderate carbonation that is soft in texture.

A dark copper-amber, with dark yellow and light brown notes, slightly hazy, small white head, mostly dissipating to a small ring. Aroma is very fruity, but there is also some citric bitterness, though it is greatly toned down from a West Coast IPA. A bit of soap detracts, but there is some grassiness, cara-pils like malt sugariness, a bit of crystal malt and slight sour-like yeast. Odd aroma. Flavor is floral and lightly minty, with a relaxed hops bitterness. Dry pale malt proves to be a bit too papery, while the yeast adds a note of sour-fruit, very light. It wants to be malty, pale and a little caramel, but ultimately gets VERY watery and loose (very low carbonation) in the middle and finish. Dry hops bitterness on the aftertaste.
