Commercial Description:
A medium bodied India Pale Ale, dry hopped to provide a very pleasing flora, citrus aroma. Well balanced between malty sweetness and hop bitterness. A very thirst quenching IPA.

Growler, Julio’s Spring Beer Fest, 4/02/05. A dark copper-amber, with dark yellow and light brown notes, slightly hazy, small white head, mostly dissipating to a small ring. Aroma is very fruity, but there is also some citric bitterness, though it is greatly toned down from a West Coast IPA. A bit of soap detracts, but there is some grassiness, cara-pils like malt sugariness, a bit of crystal malt and slight sour-like yeast. Odd aroma. Flavor is floral and lightly minty, with a relaxed hops bitterness. Dry pale malt proves to be a bit too papery, while the yeast adds a note of sour-fruit, very light. It wants to be malty, pale and a little caramel, but ultimately gets VERY watery and loose (very low carbonation) in the middle and finish. Dry hops bitterness on the aftertaste.

Pours orange with a small head. Smell is slightly hoppy. Taste is a little watered down with some grapefruit elements present.

Nice IPA, smooth with a nice body. Poured with a clean white head, a little cloudy in color. Nicely balanced between bitter & sweet. Came in a bigass (1 pint 6 oz) bottle, which is a big plus!

Excellent beer. A woodsy citrus aroma, hazy amber color. Traditional east coast IPA taste, good body and well balanced.

Bottle. Dark orange with a fluffy medium sized white head that left only traces of lacing. Smell and taste have a nice citrus hop and caramel malt balance , but the beer is thin and watery.

Bottle: Pours to a pale amber color with a creamy off-white head that quickly fades to a ring around the outside of the glass with a broken layer over the top. Aroma: Mild bitter hops, mild malts, citrus, sweet apple/corn notes.
