Commercial Description:
A medium bodied India Pale Ale, dry hopped to provide a very pleasing flora, citrus aroma. Well balanced between malty sweetness and hop bitterness. A very thirst quenching IPA.

Bottle thanks to Cletus. Pours a deep hazy amber orange with thick off-white head that sticks around for a while. Aroma strong of floral hops, slight citrus, malt, and strong herbal presence. Flavor is quite a bit more malty than I was expecting and this just ended up tasting all out of balance. Drinkable, but not my style of IPA.

22oz from ppoitras - thanks, Pete! Definitely not a typical IPA, at least not of the sort often produced in the States. But enjoyable as hell in the same mold as SNPA. Nice orange beer, decent head and retention, and just a bit of cloudiness in the body. Mouthfeel is moderately thick, and very quaffable. Just a touch of hops, leaning towards the floral end of the spectrum, and that tends to accentuate the overall sweetness of the malt profile. Somehow, though, it’s not excessively one-dimensional. Smooth and enjoyable.

22 ounce bottle in pint glass. Dark orange with flat head and lace. Very lemon and soapy aroma. Very fruity orange marmalade sweetness with somewhat gritty bitter finish. Medium light body. Decent carbo. Nothing really pleases. Drinkable.

On tap at Willimantic Brewing. Pours a clear brown/amber with a small white head. Aroma of crystal malt and resiny hops. Flavor largely of iced tea, wtih some light pale malts. Way too sweet, so I didn’t really enjoy this one. 6/4/6/3/13 (3.2/5)

Tap at Willimantic Brewing. Aroma of sweet-bread malt with citrus and floral hops. Flavor sees the malt become boring and sweet and overtake the hops a bit much. Ok, but more sweet than anything when all is said and done.

Bomber courtesy of Tweety. Pale citrus aroma and malty sweetener somewhat pale on the nose. Darker shade of orange with thin off white head. Flavor was leaned more to the sweet malt that the citrusy hop and somewhat filling rather than cool and crisp. This is what they call a dinner brew in AZ would of been good with chicken wings or a pizza.

On tap at the Flat Street Brewpub in Brattleboro Vt. Pours a peachy yellow/orange color with a good sized white head that recedes into rings of white lacing. Aroma is citrus hops with hints of malt. Flavor is mostly citrus with a hint of lemon. Hops aren’t particularly strong or sharp. Lacks the crispness of a truely good IPA. That being said, it was an enjoyable brew.
