On tap at Redbones BBQ. Pours a lightly hazy golden orange with an average size creamy off white lacing head. Aroma of honey, toasted grains, some hints of citrus from the hops. Flavor was a lot of up front citrus hop flavor along with some honey a bit dry with sweet cereal grainy maltiness.

22oz bomber: This one pours a cloudy, dark golden color with an orangish hue. There was some off-white head that died off quickly. It leaves almost no lacing on the glass. The aroma is a bit thin, with notes of banana and a bit of caramel. The taste is a mildly caramel sweet brew. The body is medium, and the taste is smooth. There about zero hops in this. Nothing special, but still a very drinkable beer.

Decent. It does have a sweetness to it... but not a very pleasant one. Almost a tartness about it, and a little bit of an apple taste. Body was not very impressive, too thin and fizzy. This was better than the BBC pale ale I tried, but still not very impressive.

[bomber] Orange color, almost no head at all. Flavors are pretty plain- banana aroma, sweet malts and strong lager yeast. No hops to speak of. Not too good.

Bomber. Buttery, metallic, caramelized banana aroma that just seems medicinal. Transparent golden-orange color with a small whitish head. Mildly caramel sweet start, turning roasty and cereal-like. There are some banana yeasty flavors that follow finishing rather metallic. Pretty thin-bodied. Lacks the chewiness and sweetness that I expect out of a maibock.

On tap. Dark orange, slightly opaque. Very malty aroma. Sweet malt taste, with nothing much else. I was unimpressed, but it’s still a very drinkable lager.
