golden amber - malty and bitter - bready - mild hops - lighty fruity - caramely - vegegetably - light and refreshing

Pours a medium amber with a medium head that dissipates quickly. Aroma is mostly malt with some floral hops. Flavor is sweet and malty, with a hint of roasty and fruity flavor. A pleasant, but not bitter floral hop flavor finish.

Pours a nice light amber with a fluffly lasting white head. Aroma is a touch of DMS- some corn, toasted malts, caramel and lightly herbal. Flavor is toasted and nutty mlats, some light munihc character and a light herbal bitter finish. nice and smooth overall. Needs to get rid of the DMS to really be good though.

Bottle. Pours a slightly opaque amber/orange with minimal off-white head. Aroma is sweet malts. Taste has a lot of caramel malts with some breadiness. No hops/bitterness at all. Very standard marzen. I can’t complain.

Golden pour, malty flavor, a bit of spiciness. Not crazy about the flavor on this one.

Bottle thanks to Dickinsonbeer at his gathering. Clear, dark golden color with a small white head. Sweet, doughy malt aroma and flavor with some corn in the background and just a hint of hops on the finish.

Poured an effervescent golden with an off-white head. Aroma of orangy citrus and yeasty biscuit dough. Flavor is toffee, some grassy hops, orangy citrus, leading to a semi-dry finish. Fairly bland.

Pours a dark gold bordering on brown with a thick tan head. The nose is malty, roasted nuts, caramel, brown sugar, with a distinct tartness, and some fresh baked bread essence. The taste is sensational, sweet caramel, upfront with some hoppy bitterness that is semi-balanced leaning more toward a malty front. The alcohal presence is a bit stong but not overpowering. This is a quality Oktoberfest that is very enjoyable and easily one of my favorites in the style.
