Nov 30, 2009 Bottle thanks to bman1113vr. Deep amber with a cream head. Raspberries, alcohol and not much else on the nose. Ok on the palate with a decent raspberry flavor and an off finish.

Nov 14, 2009 Bottle labeled as Raspberry Barleywine Style Ale courtesy of BMan1113VR. Clear light orange with a pink tint. Little head to be found. Sweet smell. Raspberry is so apparent. Taste is of tart berries with a finish that disappears. Flavor is difficult to tongue and doesn’t sit well at all. An interesting idea but not balanced well.

Nov 13, 2009 Bottle marked as Berkshire Raspberry Barleywine via a trade with cletus. Pours with a fading tan head over a hazy amber hued body. Aroma of real raspberries, all the way down to the bitter seeds, caramel and a bit harsh. Taste reminds me a lot of a low ABV version of DFH Fort. Lots of raspberry with a very bitter finish. Medium carbonation.
