Mar 25, 2009 What can i say other then delicious. To all you beer snobs out there, shame on you! A delicious beer with a great variety of flavors. 22oz bottle, popped open, poured and immediatly enjoyed. Hints of all kinds of flavors, tiny tinge of vanilla , some nutty hints of chocolate,the perfect amount of malt, and some great fresh hops taste in the background as well. Id recommend this excellent brew to anyone!

Oct 5, 2008 Muddy brown color that signifies this beer as rather unfiltered. Tan head. Caramel and malt aroma and the taste is pretty much the same. The alcohol is covered up pretty well by the hearty malts in this beer. Kind creamy and smooth.

Aug 23, 2008 (Bottle). Mild malty aroma. Dark hazy amber, with a small tan head. Flavor is very balanced with sweetness, nuts, chocolate, caramel, and some fruit. Not much hops bite. Smooth and drinkable.

Mar 22, 2008 minimal head, beautiful color, nice spices, sweet malts. finishes floral. Very well balanced and nice alc content.

Feb 24, 2008 Updated: Feb 25, 2008Thanks to RCL for this bomber in a trade. Pours like dark hefe or dunleweizen. All I can say about this is wheat dark wheat. Has a sweet mild aroma about it. Comes on at first like a weisenbock on the olfactory. During the session the alky content seems to mellow out a bit. Almost becomes well behaved after a while. Hints of banana or wheat beer. Probably should be listed as a weizenbock, looks like and tastes like many weizenbocks I’ve had. Back of throat malt bitter bite build during the session. Interstingly good cross between an ale and a dunkleweizen. Has a choco malt aroma in the background. Finish is alky malty impression that hangs for a while.

Feb 10, 2008 A pretty good, but not great beer. I didn’t notice a lot of "nuttiness" here, and the hops were almost nonexistent. The wheat malt is noticable but it’s mostly drown out by the sweetness, which is almost overpowering. It’s an alright beer, but in the future I’ll stick with Berkshire’s porters, which are outstanding.

Jan 17, 2008 I found this one to be pretty forgettable. Sweet and nutty with me fruitcake flavors, but I didn’t love it. Might just not be my style.
