Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is flat. Flavor and aroma is very sweet. [20090807] williamherbert (475), Syracuse, New York, USA
| 3.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Nov 8, 2009 Hazy deep orange color. Big puffy head. Minor spotty lace. Thin jetsam of carbonation.
The aroma is an inoffensive but weak ale smell. Ale yeast and malt, slightly pale. Some mild, almost pilsnery bitter hops.
The taste is almost like a lager: Crisp, bitterish light malt. Like a thick all-malt lager. Very nondescript but not bad.
The feel is thick and creamy...and very malty. A good, decent ale. Not a ton of flavor, but easy drinking. Nekronos (2265), Xalapa, Mexico
