Muddy brown color that signifies this beer as rather unfiltered. Tan head. Caramel and malt aroma and the taste is pretty much the same. The alcohol is covered up pretty well by the hearty malts in this beer. Kind creamy and smooth.

(Bottle). Mild malty aroma. Dark hazy amber, with a small tan head. Flavor is very balanced with sweetness, nuts, chocolate, caramel, and some fruit. Not much hops bite. Smooth and drinkable.

Thanks to RCL for this bomber in a trade. Pours like dark hefe or dunleweizen. All I can say about this is wheat dark wheat. Has a sweet mild aroma about it. Comes on at first like a weisenbock on the olfactory. During the session the alky content seems to mellow out a bit. Almost becomes well behaved after a while. Hints of banana or wheat beer. Probably should be listed as a weizenbock, looks like and tastes like many weizenbocks I’ve had. Back of throat malt bitter bite build during the session. Interstingly good cross between an ale and a dunkleweizen. Has a choco malt aroma in the background. Finish is alky malty impression that hangs for a while.
