Commercial Description:
A full bodied dark ale which is a blend of our Berkshire Ale and Drayman's Porter. It combines the caramel malt flavor of the pale ale with the chocolate roasted taste of the porter. Shabadoo is a complete and delicious ale.

Brown ale with foamy head, aroma of sour mash and dandylions....a bit weedy and unripe pears. Thin and watery, dry malty sourness with hints of chocolate. Heavy malt aftertaste. Not easy to swallow. Makes ya pucker.

Bomber. Dark, clear mahogany brown with a beige head. Roasty malt nose, some dry chocolate and light pine. Light bodied. The flavor is lightly bitter, dry chocolate, caramel malt and pine resin. Dry cocoa finish. Not bad, and pretty cheap at $3.25.

Pours a dark amber colour with a off white head. Aroma of chocolate, roasted malts, and some hops. Initial taste is mild but touches of creamy chocolate, fruits, and roasted malts make an appearance. Finishing with a mild bitter hops. The flavor to finish was all mild, but was interesting. Medium body.

At first sip, I wasn’t a fan of this brew, but it was interesting enough to win me over by the time I’d finished my glass. Snifter. Pours a clear brown with ruby edges with a moderate fading head that sustains a decent cap. The aroma is of mild toasted malts, that characteristc BBC honey scent, tobacco and some chocolate. The flavour took me by surprise. Up front there is an unusual light fruity flavour, some expected caramel and some noticable hops. The finish is entirely different, bringing forth a roasty bitterness and chocolate flavour. The finish is a bit muted and short, though still good. There’s a nice range of flavours here that don’t clash really. The palate is a bit watery but the well matched carbonation makes it very drinkable.

This beer has a mix of colors to it, at first it is very dark but if you put it up to the light it is clear and you can some what see through it. It hs an aroma of hops and walnuts, and has some really nice head retention to it. The initial flavor is of chocolate and mild pitted fruits but that fades rather quickly. The after taste is very bitter and hoppy.

Pours a dark brown with a thin off white head that has good retention. Aroma of malty sweetness, and notes of caramel. Lighter flavours for a dark ale, light notes of roasted malts, chocolate, bland finishing flavours. Palate is alright with good carbonation and a slight dry finish, All and all not a bad brew, goes good with a meal, but doesn’t really stand ut in a crowd.

22 oz Bomber. Dark brown almost ruby red color. Small head that didn’t last long. It certainly is not a porter. As a black/tan, it’s a bit weak. That having been said, I’ll get again some day.

Pours a dark, dark Brown with hints of red. Almost no head. Separation of colors are true to a black and tan. I can’t get much of a aroma. Hint’s of roasted malts that finish dry.
