Presentation: This is one of six beers from an eighteen pack labeled Beer of America, Historical Collection. The 18 pack also came with a nice book titled, The History of Beer in America. It was poured from a brown 12oz bottle into a mug. There appears to be no freshness date on the bottle. Appearance: It has a fast fading, light fluffy head. It is bright white in color and full of big soapy bubbles. There is only some slick spotty lace here and there but not all that much to speak of really. The body is light golden honey colored and very clear. It has lots of visible in the beer and some big bubbles that stick to the inside of the glass. Smell: The aroma has a touch of leafy hops with some lemony citrus as well. Also there are notes of sweet bready malt and dry pale grain. Taste/Palate: The flavor has light grain, sweet white bread and some fruity orange marmalade notes as well as some sweet honey and buttery tones. There is very little bitterness and just a hint of citrus hop flavor. The finish is more of an acidic hop flavor vs. citrus hop bitterness. The texture is very smooth with a medium body and mellow carbonation. Notes: This was an ok beer but it was still very similar to the other beers in this mixed pack. One other thing to note is that of all the beers in this pack the Berkshire Springs Stock Ale was the only one that said it was brewed in Rochester NY by MDII. Overall the best part of this 18 pack is the book that came with it.

Garys Beverage Bottle poured into a pint glass produced a two finger white head that trailed of to a thin lace. The body of the brew was a clear pale yellow with good carbonation coming from the bottom of the glass Aromas’ of grain and a light hop smell came of the glass. It was a rather sweat beer for an APA. I didn’t see a bottle code it could be old. I did pull a slightly oxidized taste from the brew, along with some sweat malts. It was light and crisp in the mouth. This one might be old like I said I like to know for sure so I will hold all final comments on this one

Gift from my Wisconsin hook up. Thanks Jamie. I will keep it short. It was thin and clean but not for me. Dry finish with not enough hop presence.

I had this a long time ago, as it’s in my records, but I didn’t take down good tasting notes!

Light yellow orange with a loose off white foam. Aroma is lightly peppery, a small sweet maltiness, but steely and watery overall. Taste is mildly improved, a sweet caramel taste is there, but washed out in the finish by the thinness of it all, enough hops to notice.

The only thing decent about this beer is its aroma. The rest of the beer doesnt really have much to it.

12 ounce bottle in pint glass. Pale clear copper with ring. Cardboard and mild honey aroma. Toasted honey malt astringent bitter fruit finish that lingers in the throat. Medium-light body. Wretched, but actually better than Ithaca Pale Pale. Drain pour. If I were completely desperate, I might finish this, but I have five cases of Sierra Celebration.
