| 2.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 10/20 | May 26, 2006 contract brewed maybe? the bottle says rochester, NY. thin apple-y aroma with some sweet spice - clean flavor, more like an amber lager than an amber ale with a slightly glassy and metallic flavor. not bad, but except for a surprising little hops bite at the end, not much saves this beer. badgerben (3610), Blaine, Minnesota, USA
| 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Apr 29, 2006 Copper color with a large head. A little apple and spice in the aroma. Spiciness carries over into the flavor and couples up with a basic graininess and some dusty hops. This is actually a pretty flavorful Amber! IndyF1 (19), Indianapolis, Indiana, USA

| 2.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 2/5 | 9/20 | Mar 26, 2006 Pours a hazy golden color. Aroma is stale malts, Corn and cereals and what not. Flavor is sweet with a metallic twang to it. Its got a little character to it, but nothing that stands out. StewardofGondor (1934), Washington Heights - Milwaukee, Wisconsin, USA
| 2.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 2/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Mar 6, 2006 Transparent pale brass in color with a foamy, snow froth shaped and tan-hued head. Aroma could go either way, with the key decipherables consisting of nut extract, sharp aluminum twangs, potato chip grease and Stetson cologne sprayed on a bulk bag of oatmeal. Sweet acidity ramparts with bitterness, sourdough and steel when put to the taste buds. Turbid bitter rations actually keep it from sinking. Herbal bread heels and an extract form of pine sap. Pricks the tongue’s receptors and is mostly clean and bitter on the palate. Famous artificial flavoring and forced carbonation are no strangers; however, the IBUs disguise its full disgrace. Grassy, sapped on aluminum cans and a touch of baguettes bring things to a close. Funny how this is quite possibly this brewery’s best foot forward. FistFullOfCats (162), Raleigh, North Carolina, USA
| 2.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 4/5 | 5/10 | 4/5 | 7/20 | Mar 3, 2006 Bottle. Pours a really pretty amber tinted honey gold with a small but thick soapy white head. Aroma of apple blossoms, hops, honey. Flavor is...um...cold. It tastes like cold. That doesn’t make any sense. Little bit of sour apple on the sides of the tongue. Ok, maybe some light hazelnut, lite toffee. After taste is much more assertive, with toffee, honey, apple. Not too bad. Feels traditional. I like these history lesson beers. pjk33 (384), Sligo - Curllsville Heights, Pennsylvania, USA
| 3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 2/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Jan 26, 2006 Another bottle from my Mom’s Christmas gift 12 pack Beers of America. Golden, slightly amber color with a fluffy head about a pinky width. Malty and toffee with a bit of hop in the nose, not bad aromas at all. British pale ale flavor in the hops (Fuggles?) Nice, but common brew. Light body and crisp, solid carb. Pretty good beer. bubbleflubber (903), Collinsville, Virginia, USA
| 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 4/5 | 12/20 | Jan 26, 2006 Not a bad selection, but a little let down... has the nose of a fine, malty red ale with caramel and warm toffee. It pours an orange-pine into the glass. The head dimishes quickly with a thin spider lace. The first pull isn’t bad, but the hops present a bit stronger than the malt contingency, knocking the aromatic balance off a little. Has a good finish that’s not unpleasant, and is certainly drinkable. My first try in the Beers of America mixer, and I’ve heard it’s the best.... let’s hope I have good luck with the rest.
