Pours copper color with a thin white head. Very faint caramel aroma with about the same taste. Bitter aftertaste. I seem to find it hard to trash any beer but I will say that ther are better amber ales out there.

Pour is clear light amber with a nice off white head...smell is a little sweet and nutty at first, with a slight spicy something too...taste is sweet overall...not much of the spice I was looking for...cloying and sticky...

Dark bronze in color. Flavor was a well balanced blend of malts and hops with a slight hint of yeast. Listed as an amber ale, but tasted more like an english pale or even a watered down APA to me. Good beer.

Bottle from Beers of America Historical Collection sampler available at Sam’s Club. Poured a clear deep amber with a fizzy off-white head. Caramel, nutty, and wheat aroma. Light malts, grass, and citrus in the flavor. Light body, cardboard aftertaste. And this is one of the better ones in the sampler.

Joseph Huber...I had higher expectations. Getting the Beers of America at Sam’s Club, I shoulda known better. This is just thin in taste, kind of like the rest of them. Slightly better than most macros, but that’s about all I can say positive about this one.

Pours a dark gold with a thin white head. Aroma is reminiscent of an english pale ale with hints of toffee and nutiness. Flavor is the same ... but thin... grainy malts with just a hint of rostiness and tad bitter in the finish. Thin, watered down mouthfeel. Somwhere in there is a decent brew trying to get out.

Pours bronze-orange, slight aroma of caramel and apples, light-bodied watery grain flavor flavor with veil of hop bitterness, hint of metal in the finish.
