Some very muted caramel malt and sugars. Amber color. This one actually looks pretty nice. Very clear, shiny amber with a large, but quickly fading white head. Like the others this is watery in the fore, but FINALLY no metallic tinge that makes me fill like I am licking a lead pipe. Palate is very light, but there is a bit of flavor (onlycaramel malt and cereral, but that is something) in the finish. OhioDad (2491), Hilliard, Ohio, USA

Aroma is nutty, caramel, and a bit of toffee. Flavor is much the same finished by some brief hops. Palate is medium bodied and smooth to drink. This one was very drinkable and smooth. | 2.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 2/5 | 10/20 | Dec 19, 2005 Clear copper appearance, decent head formation. Malty, nutty, caramel aroma. Sweet toffee flavor, mildly fruity, dry nuttiness, almost marzen-ish rather than an amber ale. Fish (439), Kure, Japan
| 2.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Dec 15, 2005 Beer number 2 in the Huber mixed pack. I Think the only ale. Kind of smokey, spicey aroma and flavor. Darker malts. Not horrible. I definitely would’ve liked more hops and more interesting hops. Palate is on the weaker side of things. Not much head. Darker amber color. tronraner (1918), Seymour, Tennessee, USA
| 2.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 2/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 10/20 | Dec 8, 2005 Botle. Pours honey orange with thin, white head. The aroma consists mostly of malt with caramel notes, along with some grassy hops and a touch of hay. The flavor has more hops than the nose, but they seem stale. There is some caramely malt around, too. Ok, not great. Evster64 (106), Kempner, Texas, USA

Flavor, consistent, smooth, hint of peaches and sweet malts. ... Palate: A bit light. Malt, and again, peaches. Overall: A respectable little ale. Tmoney99 (4753), Cincinnati, Ohio, USA
| 3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Nov 5, 2005 Bottle from sampler set. Pours a hazy dark amber with a large rocky white head that diminished slowly and produced good lacing. Good well balanced aroma. Medium body. Good well balanced malt and hop flavor with a small pleasent bitter finish. Strykzone (1481), Wood River, Illinois, USA
| 2.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 3/10 | 4/5 | 4/10 | 3/5 | 9/20 | Nov 3, 2005 A nice looking beer that is honey colored with a tint of amber. Just a bit of lacing. First taste was strong dry hops that did not satisfy. After that it settled in somewhat. It definitely finished better. Still it is a run of the mill quaff at best.
