12 oz bottle from acknud! thanks! Nose of sweet with light caramel and vanilla notes; clear dark gold with a medium yellow white head; flavor has very light hop bitterness with some caramel; finish starts slightly sweet then goes to lightly bitter.

Bottle: An amber pour with a 1/4-inch of rocky head. The aroma is musty, sweet, malty. Drinks with a very even-keeled character, sweetly malty, a tad grassy. This was the best in this gimmick gift set, which unfortunately doesn’t put at much more than average. (#3378, 4/4/2008)

light head that hangs on edge, cloudy amber color, did not find bitter but did not like the lingering after taste. Came in a collection box.

Clear pale yellow body with a small offwhite head. Subtle aroma of toasted grain and spicy hops. Light body is a bit thin but has a crisp carbonation. Taste has a dominanting crispy and toasty malt sweetness that evokes a mild toffee flavor. Spicy hop bitterness balances well. Very easy drinking amber that succeeds with its simplicity.

12 oz bottle. Citrusy, light, not much malts as i expected. Out of an American heritage set, this was the best.. but thats still not saying much.

12 oz bottle. Pours a thin dull looking brownish/orange with a small fizzy white head. Aroma of cooked vegtables and dust. An overly fizzy body gives way to flavors of seltzer water and malts. Even though this beer was free I still want my money back.

From girt set of 6 of what i thought could be "win" beers, but seemingly not. Aroma is sweet grainy malts. Taste is similar but this tart sour bitterness, that may have been great but the bitterness ruined it. I doubt this was off but strange overly carbonated too, meaning it was actually really difficult to drink quickly, which is what i wanted to do it get it out the way.
