[Bottle, thanks Philsner] Pours golden with a small white head. Aroma is malt, a little alcohol, maybe some pear?--strange nonetheless. Taste is mainly a weak malt taste. Watery thin, a little dry on the finish. Not good.

12oz bottle. Aroma has a little caramel and hops but nothing that great, almost a macro grain smell there. Light yellow copper color with a small white head that left no lace. Flavor was like bud with a little amber ale caramel; very macro. Very light bodied and watery soft. A really bad beer all around.

Another crappy bland beer from the beers of america pack. Weird, metallicy aftertaste. Taste is ultra bland with nothing going on. pretty gross.

A pretty pleasant beer from a "beers of america" sampler pack. It pours a slightly red copper color. The aroma is fruity with some hops underneath it. The flavor is malt, caramel, some apple like notes, with a small amount of hoppiness in the aftertaste. Not too bad, I hope the rest of the sampler pack taste similar.

bottle from the "beers of america" sampler. aroma is metallic. pale gold. flavor is a bit of caramel malt, a big grainy character (almost as if there was corn or something in there, despite the labeling). not good.

Pours light amber with a very small, fizzy tan head. Nose is predominately floral hops. Same in the flavor with a faint malt backbone, mild to moderate bitter finish. Watery mouthfeel. Pretty much just hops water but it is fairly pleasant.

12 fl oz (US) bottle from a limited edition gift pack called "Beers of America." Pours a golden-honey with minimal head. Aroma of malts and a touch of grass/wheat. Smooth in the mouth albeit a little watered down. A hint of hops in the flavor. The label says 1909 style. The whole gift set supposedly revives recipes from the early 20th Century. Not a bad brew but nothing extraordinary.

bottle. pours heavy amber with minimal head. aromas of light malts, faint wheat-like aroma, and moderate sugar. indeed, it’s quite thin. the flavor is that of an amber bock with added sweetness, as well as a spoonful more of flavor. the finish is a bit too thin, yet at a moderately low price, i could toss back a few for poker night, i just doubt i’d tell anyone what i was drinking.
