Sweet rounded malt flavor, quite inviting actually. Dark fruits, with a mild roasted and spicy accent in addition. Medium body. [Courtesy of friends Heidi and Peter] Huge creamy beige head that mostly lasted. Good display of lacework in the glass. Color was mahogany. Aroma of mild toasted malt, hint of chocolate and caramel. Over the palate came bread, light roasted malt, mild fruity notes, brown sugar and dried fruity notes. Medium bodied with an average carbonation and mild alcoholic texture. Moderated sweet flavor with some counter bitterness. Bread and roasted malty finish. Quit nice and very drinkable.
