The only Berliner Kindl beer I have seen in the US is the Berliner Weisse so this is a cool treat. The aroma is a sort of toasted grain, perfume, fruit cake candy and sweet raisins. The body is a dark ruby-brown and holds a diminishing tan head. The fore is syrupy, sweet and possesses a quick alcohol bite. Candied dark fruit and malt throught the middle. Tastes a lot like an Italian candy I have had that itself reminds me fruitcake, replete with nutty notes. Again I find myself in awe of the overall high quality of beer production in Germany. motelpogo (4395), Plzen, Czech Republic

Lightly roasty and malty flavour, hints of chocolate, pumpernickel bread and mild coffee. A pleasant and easy-drinking bock. DerBiermeister (523), Birmingham, Alabama, USA
| 3.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 8/10 | 3/5 | 17/20 | Dec 15, 2007 Good, strong, stuff. Especially since the bottles are so significantly bigger to what we’re allowed here in Alabama (the veritable wasteland for beer). Somewhat rough / harsh here, but good fuel for walking around the city of Berlin. jfm (1694), Holbæk, Denmark
