Dark brouwn, clear beer with nice steady head. Nice roasted flavors of malts. Full bodied mouthfeel, a little sweet maybe. Pleasant beer in wintersettings.

Very pleasant malty aroma, a bit watery mouthfeel but very good and drinkable. Strength given as 7.0% on the bottle, alcohol is well hidden in the beer.

Courtesy of papsoe. Thank you, Henrik. The only Berliner Kindl beer I have seen in the US is the Berliner Weisse so this is a cool treat. The aroma is a sort of toasted grain, perfume, fruit cake candy and sweet raisins. The body is a dark ruby-brown and holds a diminishing tan head. The fore is syrupy, sweet and possesses a quick alcohol bite. Candied dark fruit and malt throught the middle. Tastes a lot like an Italian candy I have had that itself reminds me fruitcake, replete with nutty notes. Again I find myself in awe of the overall high quality of beer production in Germany.

It’s black/brown with a red hue and a huge, creamy and lasting head. The aroma has notes of licorice, flower and roasted malt. The flavour has sweetness and notes of licorice, flower and roasted malt and it ends dry. It’s very, very delicious and well balanced.

500 ml bottle, bought at KaDeWe, Berlin. Dark reddish brown colour, large tan head. Pleasant roasty and malty sweet aroma, notes of dark chocolate, prunes and leather. Lightly roasty and malty flavour, hints of chocolate, pumpernickel bread and mild coffee. A pleasant and easy-drinking bock.

Good, strong, stuff. Especially since the bottles are so significantly bigger to what we’re allowed here in Alabama (the veritable wasteland for beer). Somewhat rough / harsh here, but good fuel for walking around the city of Berlin.

Nice chestnut color with a slight off white head. The taste is full bodied malts with a balanced slight roasted sweetness. Light caramel notes.
