dirkbreedveld (230), Netherlands Nov 26, 2004 Nice golden color. Nice smell of malts which are present in the first mouthfeel too, but disapear rather quickly. Well drinkable though.
Maria (4761), Thisted, Denmark Dec 1, 2008 It’s warm golden with a white head. The aroma has a light sweetness and notes of malt, fruit and a little nuts or almonds. The flavour has sweetness and notes of malt, toffee, fruits and almonds, It’s smooth and pleasant. KnutAlbert (2466), Oslo, Norway Oct 16, 2008 Bottle from a Berlin supermarket.
Dark gold, fine carbonation. A bit sweet, full body, but rather one dimensional. Perfectly OK, but there is no hop signature here. Warming alcohol finish. gunnfryd (2839), Kristiansand, Norway May 2, 2008 Bottle. Golden colour with a white head. Aroma i sweet, fruit, malt. Flavour is sweet, alcohol, apple, fruit, malt. OK beer, but nothing more. yngwie (3762), Kristiansand, Norway May 1, 2008 Bottle. It pours a nice, clear golden body, topped by a white to off-white head. Pleasant fruityness blending in with a malty aroma, but as most heller bocks, it is a bit boring. Sweet and fruity flavor with some faint banana, not as grainy as some heller bocks. Medium body, would like it chewier. Well, I’m not overly fond of the pale ones, I prefer the darker, heavier ones, but this one is a decent specimen. (080314) Ungstrup (11713), Frederiksberg, Denmark Apr 28, 2008 Bottled. A golden beer with a thin beige head. Both the aroma and flavor are sweet and dominated by malt.
