| 3.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 5/5 | 6/10 | 4/5 | 13/20 | Jan 11, 2003 Surprisingly good aroma and appearance for a beer out of a can. Aroma similar to German Helles I had on draft while in Berlin. Huge, white, creamy head; mostly lasting. Sparkling gold body, similar to champagne. Good lace. Has a bit of the harsh finish that pasteurized lagers contain, but still pretty decent. A lot better than the generic pilsners we get in the States. Bov (5478), Bienne, Switzerland

| 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 3/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 16/20 | Jun 18, 2009 got this bottle around the corner from my Hotel Artist Riverside, Mitte, Berlin.in outdoor cooler at a kiosk on the street. Poured with a big white foamy fluffy head and lots of lace. Color is a bright clear yellow gold. Aroma was immediately skunky over grain, malt, hops, and a little spice. Flavor left the skunk behind - and turned out pretty good! Real as a matter of fact. Just enough malty sweetness to be alluring with just enough hoppy bitterness to balance and keep it clean and satifying. Big barley grain finish with some hops. Definitely a session. jbrus (4882), Delft, Netherlands
| 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Jan 31, 2003 I finally find one of the few descent pilseners and then I read lots of bad ratings at RB. I don't understand that. This is a nice pilsener, although pilsener is not my favorite style. The aroma is hoppy with a little horseblanket/malty touch. Pale golden (this I don't like), firm white head, fair lace. It's refreshing like a pilsener is suppost to be, medium body, hoppy, floral, light bitter, but not very malty. The finish is a little dry and bitter but certainly long lasting. pivo (2537), Germany
| 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 13/20 | Feb 21, 2003 Light pleasant nose, pale-yellow color and foamy head. Light malt taste and a subtle bitter finish that meshed with the sweet body to form a distinct citrus taste. Very nice balance and a classic pils. Nice refreshing bitterness at front blends nicely with sweet malt in the middle, and comes back at the end. Light body, slightly dry. bierkoning (6074), La Tropica, Netherlands
