Berliner Kindl Pils

Bottle 33cl. @ home.
Clear light to medium yellow orange color with a average to large, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, white head. Aroma is light moderate malty, grain, toasted, light hoppy, grass. Flavor is moderate sweet and bitter with a average to long duration. Body is light medium, texture is watery to oily, carbonation is soft. [20091018]

Oh well, good cheap party beer. I just better like drinking something else when available. Color is light gold-yellow, head never stay long and is most like soap bubbles. Bitterness is too present with nothing else after. They call it typical german modern pils... Oh well...

30 cl draft. Clear yellow body with small white head. Flavour is malt and bitter hops.

50 cL bottle. Pours and golden yellow with a lacing white head. Mild bitterhops aroma, light cornish. Flavour is clean bitterhops and dry. Vague malt base, light spiced too. Ends dry and bitter.

On tap in Berlin, with most of the carbonation squeezed out. Soft, smooth, with a pleasant hoppy finish. Just the refreshment I needed on a hot evening.

Clear straw color, white head. Sweet, sugary, canned corn, alcohol and some solvents scent. Sweet , sugary, butter, herbal taste. Moussy semi-high c02 level, spritzy mouthfeel. Low bitterness.

Bottle (33 cl) from a local beer store in Berlin. Clear golden with medium white head. A bit unclean malt aroma with stale vegetables. Light in body with soft carbonation. Ok balance, a bit sweet initially, bitter finish.

Bottle 50 cl. [Courtesy of friends Heidi and Peter] Large fizzy white head that mostly lasted. Fair display of lacework. Clear somewhat sparkling body with a pale yellow color. Aroma of grass, caramel, grain, cardboard. Light bodied with an average carbonation and mild dry texture. Light bitter and sweet flavor in balance. Light dry and bitter grassy finish.
