Berliner Kindl Pils

(Ahlbeck, Usedom Island, Germany). I had it a bit warm from tap (?). Nice hoppiness and maltiness, smooth mouthfeel with a bit too little carb for my taste. I’ve had better.

[can] Aroma=crisp noble hops wth some pale malt, though a bit skunky and weak. Clear straw-coloured appearance with no foam. Typical pils flavour with balance toward hops; boring. Light to medium body with moderate carbonation and a lingering bitterness.

Bottel. It has a Czechish aroma, just like urqel, make´s it drinkebel to me. thin white head.

Bottle. Pale yellow, nice thick head. Nice hoppy aroma. Good body, pleasant bitterness in the finish.

Berlin. Watery Pilsen, but does not dislike.........................................Be Pilsen aguada, mas não desagrada.

My initial reactions were not strong, but in time I have discovered a fondness for this fine beer.

Draft at the brewery, Indira Ghandi Str, Berlin. Of the three principle pilseners from this brewery (Berliner, Schultheis and Kindl), this one stands out alittle more then the others. by large international pils standards this one is perfectly adequate without being exceptional.

Berlin Trip berr No. 20. Bottle. Yellow body, small loose head, strong skunky aroma. Plenty of hops and bitterness, some citrus flavours. Malty sweet finish that gives way to a nasty chemical aftertaste. A bulk brewed german pils. Nothing more to be said.
