Clear, dull gold, well charged producing a persistent, rocky white head that legged well. Clean, grassy and gritty haystack nose. Dry in the mouth, clean, slightly grainy and very delicate on the palate. Not too heavily carbonated, but it bounces well. Hops show across the sides of the tongue and of course in the back, dusty, grassy and slightly herbal before a peppery, bitter swallow. No length, finishes off crisp and clean as it should. Bloody hot days called for many of these and it was a ’straight from the bottle’ quaffer after I rated it. Easy drinking stuff, can’t be too hard on it as it does its job well. Not bad (50cL, 11/06, Pegasus hostel, Berlin, Germany) Wakie (612), Centreville, Virginia, USA

I’m not sure if this beer is good because air temperature is 35°C or it’s really that good... rw4244 (128), Bristol, Gloucestershire, England
| 3.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 2/5 | 6/10 | 2/5 | 17/20 | May 15, 2006 50cl Bottle. Bought in Berlin. It poured a clear light gold, with a small bubbly white head. Not much of an aroma, but there were hops there somewhere. Classic German Pilsner taste- dry, mown grass taste, with a light, perhaps metallic, bitter finish. I thought this was one of the better cheap pilsners available in Berlin; thoroughly enjoyable and good session beer. BeerBlockaid (538), Jacksonville, Florida, USA
| 2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 2/5 | 4/10 | 2/5 | 8/20 | Mar 30, 2006 Reading "TheBeerLover"’s post, I have to agree. ASide, onto the beer. Pale Crisp pilsner. Lots of straight up pilsner taste, some malty bitterness and lots of water. Easy to wash anything down with, but unremarkable. Diogène (560), Gatineau, Quebec, Canada
| 3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Feb 20, 2006 Very pale blond colour. Thin white head. Smells of wheat. Distinct pilsener malt aroma, with just enough malt for this type of beer. Not a bad pilsener.
