Light in body, sweetish artificial and sticky with distinct notes of blackcurrant. No bitterness. A little low in carbonation with a soft mouthfeel. Unique and very different in all ways. 050608

Jun 8, 2008 33 cL bottle. Pours hazy/murky purple and with a pink to purple head. Solid sweet berry aroma, can be smelled from 2 meters distance. Sweet berry flavour with a mild berliner weisse citric note beneath. Ends citric and sweet.

Jul 22, 2008 Bottle, 3.0%. The aroma and flavour are clearly blueberry. Drunk out of the bottle, so I cannot see the colour. Tastes good, but of course is not beer. And it seems the acidity of a berliner wiesse is not here. It has the usual aspartam aftertaste that I unfortunately get from berliner weisse, but also a really nice blueberry note.

Oct 31, 2009 Hazy purple with a huge pink head. Very sweet aroma with artificial black currants and bupple gum. Extreme candy sweetnes hit my tongue along with artificial black currants. Somewhat dry finish. Pity to ruin a Berliner Weisse like that. I bet a nice one would have come out using sour natural berries and loads of lacto. Yeah!

Nov 28, 2009 It’s unclear, beautiful dark violet and the head is creamy and violet. The aroma has a lot of blackberries – it’s refreshing and inviting. The sweet flavor has a light berry sourness and loads of ripe blackberries with a dash of whipped cream. It’s a really pleasant fruit beer.
