The aroma is strong of black currant, while the flavor is very artificial with strong notes of black currant, leading to a dry tart finish. Papsoe (15103), Frederiksberg, Denmark

Extreme - but fresh - aroma of blackcurrant. Light in body, sweetish artificial and sticky with distinct notes of blackcurrant. No bitterness. A little low in carbonation with a soft mouthfeel. Unique and very different in all ways. 050608 yespr (12345), Copenhagen O, Denmark
| 2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 1/5 | 4/10 | 2/5 | 8/20 | Jun 8, 2008 33 cL bottle. Pours hazy/murky purple and with a pink to purple head. Solid sweet berry aroma, can be smelled from 2 meters distance. Sweet berry flavour with a mild berliner weisse citric note beneath. Ends citric and sweet. MiP (9099), Sønderborg, Denmark
| 2.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 7/20 | Jul 22, 2008 Bottle, 3.0%. The aroma and flavour are clearly blueberry. Drunk out of the bottle, so I cannot see the colour. Tastes good, but of course is not beer. And it seems the acidity of a berliner wiesse is not here. It has the usual aspartam aftertaste that I unfortunately get from berliner weisse, but also a really nice blueberry note. KimJohansen (7131), Copenhagen V, Denmark
| 2.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 3/5 | 4/10 | 2/5 | 8/20 | Oct 31, 2009 Hazy purple with a huge pink head. Very sweet aroma with artificial black currants and bupple gum. Extreme candy sweetnes hit my tongue along with artificial black currants. Somewhat dry finish. Pity to ruin a Berliner Weisse like that. I bet a nice one would have come out using sour natural berries and loads of lacto. Yeah! Maria (6307), Thisted, Denmark
| 3.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Nov 28, 2009 It’s unclear, beautiful dark violet and the head is creamy and violet. The aroma has a lot of blackberries – it’s refreshing and inviting. The sweet flavor has a light berry sourness and loads of ripe blackberries with a dash of whipped cream. It’s a really pleasant fruit beer. bierkoning (6085), La Tropica, Netherlands
