Berliner Kindl Weisse Mit Schuß Waldmeister

Had it on the World Cup streets in Berlin, very painture alike, and refreshing at first but later too sweet.

(0.33L Bottle) Pours sickly green with no head. Sweet. Didn’t feel like trying the Raspberry version after trying this one.

it seems that most of you are missing the point...as usual. this is a summer beer, meant to be (or so i’ve read) a light, sweet, refreshing drink. while i have no idea exactly what woodruff is, i thoroughly enjoy adding the waldmeister to this beer. tinting the beer a lovely green and adding a sweetness to slightly counter the tart berliner flavor, but altering the flavor in a way i can’t quite put my finger on. overall, this is a brew to enjoy without taking too seriously, hell, it’s friggin’ froggy-green! and fun. a little more alcohol and maybe some mixing instructions in english (or whatever language for the importing country) would be nice, however.

Ecto Cooler! Essentially the same as the Red - poured straight from a medicine bottle, artificial and cloying, detestable way to ruin a good beer.

(Thanks to Papsoe) 33 cl bottle yeast at the bottom. Green colour with a weak head. Aroma of marzinpan and cherry. Strange flavour of sweetness and some sourness at once, combined with fruit and ends up dry and sour.

Bottled. Jello-style green, little hazy. Cherry stone nose, bit like a kriek in the aroma, with the almond tone. More earthy in flavour, bit sweet.

Pours an unclear green with a fluffy head. Aroma is probably of some strange herb, but is otherwise unremarkable. Not as shrieking sweet as the Himbeer Weisse, and quite drinkable cold.

Once again, people don’t know what’s going on...but then it seems all these people had this beer premixed in a bottle, whereas where I buy it you get a free bottle of your choice with a sixer. This guy is even better than with the raspberry. And the only real downside again is the severe lack of alcohol.
