| 2.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 4/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Aug 11, 2007 Whitish yellow very hazy body with a near perfect creamy lasting white head; Quite complex but very strange not really pleasant nose, lots of popped popcorn, lots of un-perfumed washing-up liquid and lots of grain husk, 3 off flavors? or is it actually supposed to be like this, it does somehow seem composed and balanced, strange?; Big soft carbonation on a thin very 1-dimensional fruity citric acidy body; Medium long citric finish, thin, lots of plain grain aromas. I want LOTS of sirup in my next Berliner Weisse (if there will ever be a next) Theis (3752), Denmark

Wheat, citrus zest, citrus, lemon, high sourness, bread, cactus, light freshness, acid. Strange. High carbonation. Enjoyit (1712), Vadum, Denmark
| 2.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 11/20 | Aug 5, 2007 Hazy yellow of color with a white head. An aroma of wheat, bread and sour notes. A flavor which is sour and fresh. Pretty light in taste but still enjoyable. TChrome (1299), Bedford, Texas, USA
| 3.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 3/5 | 16/20 | Aug 4, 2007 Beer pours golden color with a disapating egg white head. Aroma is sourish, but not massively so. Flavor is light with significant sourness like a sweet tart without the sweet. I like the fact that the ABV is so low. I get really tired of treking to the fridge to find that I only have 8% and up beverages. This is a nice refreshing beverage that I would be happy to drink again, especially on a warm day in Texas. jpm30 (1588), East Central, Georgia, USA
| 4.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 17/20 | Aug 3, 2007 From a stubby 330 ml. hand grenade shaped bottle, freshness date on the back label, sampled in a widemouth tumbler glass.
Poured a slightly hazy orangey golden with a tight foamy bright white head that quickly dissipates into a thin bubbly, sudsy lacing, a good start.
I love the nose on this, tart sour apples and lemons, spiced wheat malts, light touches of earthy mustiness.
Active carbonation leads to a crisp, firm light bodied mouthfeel, tastes of sour, tart apples with lemons squeezed over them, a lactic acidity in the palate, softly spicy, fruity wheat malts, light touches of pepper, baking spices and juicy green melons, dry and sweetly tart in the finish. I am really enjoying the taste of this, a lip smacker.
This is an excellent summer quaffer, perfect for the hazy heat of early August.

Aroma is of tart apple and some cut vegetation along with some sourness. Taste is very sour with some mild fruitiness of a tart apple. My first for the style. Didn’t much care for this one but I’d try another of the style if found in a single. $14.99 for a sixer of 2.5%abv is crazy!. TaxiDriver (935), Stadland, Germany
