Aroma is full of grass and is kind of sour. Flavor is very sour to me. Sourness is all i could get out of this brew. Not something ill ever try again, but a new style for me. hophead75 (1962), Boonton, New Jersey, USA

Taste is lactic sourness, tart fruit, is kind of like sweet tarts. Finishes sour. rayg1 (438), Ft. Mill, South Carolina, USA
| 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Feb 25, 2007 This beer pours a clear faint yellow with a bubbly white head that dissapated quickly. Smell is very barnyard, soil, hay, and musk. Taste is tart and sour but still fruity at the same time. I guess it reminded me if you could mix a sour apple with hay and drink it. Carbonation is very active in this beer. Refreshing and would like to buy this if found. Grovlam (3810), Copenhagen, Denmark
| 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Feb 24, 2007 Bottle [Tasting @ Per 23-02-2007]. Big thanks to Mikkel for bringing this one back to DK. I owe you one! Head was extremely fizzy with an egg white like look both in color and appearance. Color was cloudy milky white. First impression was milky acidic with some sweat, barnyard, citrus. Not much malty notes could be detected. Light to medium bodied with a lively carbonation and a somewhat milky like texture. Flavor was moderated acidic blended with some sour milky notes. Again a mix of acidic and sour notes lingers in the finish. Very interesting beer, not like anything else I have ever tasted. LyndaNova (494), Manchester, New Hampshire, USA

Light malts and light fruit. Watery texture with minimal carbonation. Ending is short; of bread/dough and some acidity with sour and tart notes. Kind of reminds me of sweet tarts candy, particularly the aroma and ending . BeerBelcher (943), Columbus, Ohio, USA
| 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 13/20 | Feb 23, 2007 I thought this beer was good, and definitely sour. It re-defined what the Berliner Weisse style means to me.
Appearance is slightly hazy, but still transparent. Very little head. Aroma is like a heifeweizen plus sourness. Taste is "rough" and unrefined at first, but provides full-on sourness. Despite the sourness I thought this beer was quite light and drinkable.
Up to this point, I thought that only American Berliner Weisses were sour and that European beers of this style were somehow more traditional and boring. This beer has provided me a central point of what the real deal is like for this style. TrevorFloyd (309), Connecticut, USA
| 2.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 4/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Feb 20, 2007 With woodruff syrup. Subtle flavor of wheat, acidic and sour, but of course hard to differentiate the beer from the syrup. Fun drinking a beer from a bowl, but not one I would drink often. Still, would make a great lawnmower beer. Slayer85 (585), Firenze, Italy
| 3.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 15/20 | Feb 9, 2007 33 cl bottle, 3% ABV. A pale yellow beer with a white head. The aroma is wheaty and fruity, with notes of lemon and much sourness. Not bad. The falvour has acidic vinegar taste without exceeding, and also lemon. Good body for its strenght. Original, refreshing and interesting, I enjoyed this very much, also if I understand that is not for all.
