Flavour is very sour and vinegarish. Has some fruity and citric flavour, but the sourness is overwhelming. Medium bodied. Dry yeasty sourness in the end. Actually its quite refreshing STEPHENDR (478), California, USA

| 2.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 3/10 | 2/5 | 7/20 | Jan 25, 2007 I did not like this beer. Maybe because I did not have the necessary syrup to make it taste good. I don’t know. But a beer should not be tested on how it tastes after something is added to it but when it is enjoyed alone. bager (2121), Copenhagen N, Denmark

Wheat and sour notes dominate the aroma, with a subtle backdrop of lemon oil and grapefruit, but no semblance of hops or malt. Flavor is bracing, bold. Notes of sour green apples. Palate is nice though watery at times. Admirable complexity for such a forthright and low ABV sour beer. I do prefer it with Woodruff syrup, but this is a very quenching and interesting taste sensation. Just not quaffable; harsh acidity, stinging at times, the culprit here.
