| 2.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 2/5 | 4/10 | 2/5 | 10/20 | Dec 6, 2006 Bottle from my secret santa. I am beginning to realize that my SS has done a great job of giving me beers from styles I have not rated yet. Very clever and thanks!
On to the beer: Pour is clear straw, looks like a mixture of apple juice and water. Not paticularly breathtaking. Aroma is something I cant pick out, yet it is very familiar. Flavor is a bit tart and frankly not that exciting. Not a lot of depth in this one. Would like to try it with the raspberry syrup sometime to see if I like it more that way. This shit just isnt doing it for me. Glad to try this, but down the toilet it goes. bitbucket (2036), Kirkland, Washington, USA
| 3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Dec 6, 2006 Bottled. Pours a hazy straw with a diminishing white head. Faint aroma of dust, wheat and lemons. Light, watery body with medium carbonation. Tart lemon taste with some hay and horseblanket behind it. A refreshing beer with a quick, crisp finish, but I’m not sure what to make of it. Stew41 (1057), Caulfield, Australia
| 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 14/20 | Nov 29, 2006 Pale cloudy gold. Nose is tough to pick; maybe freshly cut / wet house, raw wheat perhaps? The tangy and sour notes typical of the style come into play big time right through the palate and shows an excellent flavour profile from start to finish. Suits as an aperitif very well I imagine, particularly so as the alcohol doesn’t creep above 4%. HenrikSoegaard (4430), Randers, Denmark
| 1.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 2/5 | 3/10 | 1/5 | 7/20 | Nov 26, 2006 Bottle. Creamy white good mostly demminishing head. Plae yellow colour. Light hoppy very heavy citric/yeasty aroma. Week grassy/lemon flavor. Very acetic. Short finish. Very watery. I can see why they put fruitjuice in this stuff. | 2.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 11/20 | Nov 19, 2006 Bottle from the Map Room, served without syrup. Pale yellow colour with a mostly lasting creamy white head. Barely perceptable aroma of light apple juice. Dry, tart apple cider, unfermented wort, celery, and lightly yeasty bitter flavours. Light bodied, dry and refreshing. thedm (3837), Fort Wayne, Indiana, USA
| 3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 4/5 | 12/20 | Nov 18, 2006 This bottled brew from a bottle shop poured a small sized head of foamy fine to medium sized white colored bubbles that were quickly diminishing and left behind a transparent softly carbonated orange colored body and a fair lacing. The aroma was hoppy and malty. The mouth feel was tingly at the start and at the finish with a bubbly aftertaste. The flavor contained notes of malt hops and wheat. A decent one that I would consider buying again. Hansen (2357), Randers, Denmark
| 2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 3/5 | 4/10 | 2/5 | 7/20 | Nov 17, 2006 Light-yellow and unclear. Has a white head, not very lasting. Has an odd aroma, weak malty. Flavor is clear sour, kind a refreshing, don’t know if it was off or if the sourness is intented. Thanks to FrankJohansen for this one. Rballs01 (264), Mountain Lakes, New Jersey, USA
| 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 3/10 | 3/5 | 9/10 | 4/5 | 16/20 | Nov 14, 2006 A very interesting beer. Poured it from the bottle. It looked very clear, watery and over carbonated. Almost like seltzer. I first tasted it by itself, light and lemony. Then i tried it with the red syrup it goes along with. The raspberry-like syrup added an amazing flavor to this breakfast beer. Very light and most refreshing. Can’t wait to try it again with the green melon syrup. Try it now if you haven’t b/c NJ will no longer have it.
