Nov 10, 2006 Bottle from IrishBoy. It looks like a urine sample with champange bubbles. Aroma of pasta, apples, strawberries, crisp summer sweetness. Light palate, easy to drink. Not much flavor, but extremely refreshing. Very smmoth and perfectly balanced. Very little acidity. I expected more, like a lambic. More balanced than, but more like a lightly carbonated white wine. Very refreshing!!

Not what I had expected, but maybe it is better in Berlin. Not recommended for fish, but maybe it’s best when served as a trafficlight (Ampel).

Nov 4, 2006 Bottle. Small head with ok duration. Color is clear golden. Aroma is citrus. Taste is citrus and quite acidic. Lively carbonation. I must say i prefer the ones mixed with raspberry.

Oct 31, 2006 Very bright gold with a medium head. Aroma of sour apples and sugar. Foul acidic taste of fruit gone bad. Extremely sour and tangy. No palate.

Oct 29, 2006 Bottle on 10/29/06. Light gold with a bubbly head. Light grainly aroma, some citrus. Clean palaate, very lively effervescence, and a light body. Quite sour, like a lemon, to the extent that if tere is any sweetness or bitterness within, it’s totally masked. I can imaging that this would be very refreshing on a hot day. I didn’t put any fruit syrup in it, as is the custom in Berlin, but I can see where it might add to the enjoyment. If I were to put any fruit syrup in a beer, this would be the one. This is a very narrowly defined style, and popular in an extremely small geographic area. IN that context, I think it’s pretty decent, although it will never be among my daily drinkers.

Oct 28, 2006 Interesting beer here. It pours pale gold in color, with a head that dissipates just like a soda. The aroma is faint wet hay, grain, and acidity. The flavor is like lemon and seltzer water. This is far less dimensional than a lambic, but it has a somewhat similiar tart acidity.

Oct 25, 2006 Bottle. I hope this bottle was off. Hazy golden colour with a small frothy head. Very acidic aroma and taste. Awful.

Oct 22, 2006 0.33L bottle from Holiday Wine Cellar: Slightly hazy pale golden color with a small white head and lots of tiny bubbles. Aroma is lightly acidic with berries and wheat. Flavor starts extremely acidic, lemony, sour green apple, turning seltzer like with a long dry finish. Light bodied and watery with lively carbonation. Very crisp.
