Very souer taste, a hint of grapefruit. Weak aftertaste. This is a interesting and good beer. The beer is however ugly and weak in aroma. delnoche (227), Germany

Cloudy yellow with one finger head that quickly dissipates. Aroma is very slight wheat and maybe some hops. Flavor took me by total surprise. Very sour and bitter. Maybe slight lemon or grapefruit. A bit of a vinegar sensation to it. It actually makes me think of apple juice gone bad. Horrible. fata2683 (883), Panama City, Florida, USA

Heavy wheat aroma, some lemon juice and a wild yeast note. Very interesting flavor, malt and wheat body with a sourness that is nestled in the background upfront, but slowly makes it’s way forward and ends with a tart punch of lemon rind and grapefruit. I really like how mellow the sour content is at first, and how it builds in the mouth. Didn’t know what to expect, but it drink pretty good. gunnar (577), Sandnes, Norway

Very sour taste, stings in my mouth, almost like grapefruit juice. Sorry not my cup of tea this slimchill (780), Austin, Texas, USA
| 3.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 16/20 | May 15, 2009 Bottle. Apple juice nose with peach and wheat in the background. Clear gold with nearly no head, odd for the style. Flavor is also apple juice-heavy with a crisp tartness and a clean dry finish. Palate is very clean and snappy from the acidity. Very drinkable, quenching. Cloudy with the dregs swirled, and a much nicer head but no increased sourness. bookman10 (88), Osseo, Minnesota, USA

I know it’s heresy, but, sorry to say, I prefer it with syrup mixed in, especially the essence of woodruff (green). Then it has a very interesting combination of sweet and sour. swooper (454), Kladno, Czech Republic

| 3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Mar 13, 2009 Bottle at Grand Hyatt, Berlin. Quite sour nose. Citrus orange body. Sourness in the taste. I had it straight up, unmixed. Tart but not as hellish as I envisioned with nice fruit tastes, grapefruit and citrus. A new experience.
