Very refreshing, but not much flavour apart from the sourness, and not enough of that either. I was expecting more sourness. bfeldmann (1042), Wilmington, Delaware, USA

This beer was sweet. My friends were making fun of me saying girly drink. Way to sweet." AdamSkillin (376), High Bridge, New Jersey, USA
| 3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 2/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Jan 11, 2006 Baby bottle, smells like lemons and wheat, yellow with sparse white head that disappears instantaneously. It’s really sour, like if you squeezed half a lemon into a glass of club soda. Different, but good. nick76 (2657), Tampa, Florida, USA
| 2.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 4/10 | 4/5 | 9/20 | Dec 30, 2005 The aroma is a little like apple cider with some apple vinegar. There is also wheat and barnyard smells as well. The appearance is a cloudy gold with an average head. The flavor goes perfectly with German food like sausage and kraut. It is very sour with some malt and lemon. The palate is thin and the aftertaste is bitter and mostly dry with a citrus element. I had no idea how sour this was going to be and I was not impressed but as I kept drinking it I began to like it more and more. An interesting beer. BrockLanders (750), Panama City, Florida, USA
| 2.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 4/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 9/20 | Dec 27, 2005 Wow, what a treat this was to get as a late Xmas present. Kudos to my buddy Pat for saving this for me. Poures a pale yellow, smallish white head. Somewhat sweet aroma...fruit, apples, but very light. The flavor...yikes...cidery, sour, maybe the twang of vinegar. Very thin mouthfeel with a peculiar citrusy tartness I’ve never had before. This sour son-of-a-gun is quite different. I’m not familiar with the "syrup addition" folks are talking about, but I’d be interested in learning more about it and (maybe) trying this again sometime. Wow, a unique brew for me! bb (2919), Martinez, California, USA
| 3.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 2/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Dec 20, 2005 Bottle. Clear light golden amber with a white head. Slightly tart, yeasty aroma with a bit of lemon. Tart citrus (lemon) flavor with some yeasty spiciness. Clean and refreshing finish. yngwie (4970), Kristiansand, Norway
| 2.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 3/5 | 4/10 | 3/5 | 10/20 | Dec 18, 2005 Bottled. Yellow-white with some hazyness. Medium white head. Sour, lime-like aroma with some barnyard-notes. Flavor is acidic and wheaty with green apples. Astringent in the mouth. Although it feels refreshing, this is not my kind of beer. | 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 2/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 14/20 | Dec 8, 2005 Bottle. Served with woodruff, almond syrup. Light green with syrup. Clean, refreshing, somewhat tart flavor. Not a session beer, but completely quenching. Never had without the syrup, but I heard its not very tasty.
