Cloudy amber color with some yeast left in the bottle. Light bodied and medium carbonation. Nose is a sweet malt and yeasty . Starts with some sweetness but the sourness quickly dominates, a clean, tart vingear finish. A different wheat. $2.95 for a 330ml bottle from Colonial Spirits Acton, MA. | 3.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | May 26, 2005 This beer comes courtesy of beerguy101. This beer pours a goldeny straw color, very clear, with active carbonation bubbles and a soapy white head with minorly evident lacing. The aroma is leathery, barnyardy with hints of bread and citrus. The mouthfeel is full and strong with a smack of tartness. Lemon and bread with leather undertones make up this beer...mildly carbonated, 100 percent earthy, no alcohol presence but definitely carbonated. Smooth and bready. joeec5 (204), bayonne, New Jersey, USA
| 2.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 1/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 15/20 | May 24, 2005 aroma reminds me of a tetley ale i once had in a can that was THE worst beer i ever remember drinking. It tastes nothing like that beer. Flavor is tea, lemon, some kind of mild flavored cured meat. I can drink it, it doesnt bother me too much, and its low alc. thanks jimmack04 for the bottle. mds (2112), Toronto, Ontario, Canada
| 2.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 2/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | May 22, 2005 bottle. pale golden body with a quick dissipating white head. aroma has faint wheat characteristics, along with grapes and bread. There definately is a tart presence, but it isn’t as sour as I had expected it to be! lively carbonation. very dry finish. I could see this as being a great summer thirst quencher and I’d like to try some others in this style. beerhandy (195), Tulsa, Oklahoma, USA

| 2.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 2/5 | 12/20 | May 13, 2005 Pours a clear pale golden with a thin white coating of head. Aroma has banana and clove yeastiness among some dry faint malty wheat and plenty of tartness. Apple juice flavor and some acidity jump out of the body with a touch of sugary sweetness leading toward a tart, dry finish. Thin, over-carbonated body has some refreshing character. An interesting style, but I think this particular version could be done better. Thanks slob for the bonus! presario (2987), Calgary, Alberta, Canada
| 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 2/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | May 5, 2005 Aroma is salt with a trace of vinnegar. Light yellow. Sweet middle with a shocking sour palate cleansing finish. More refreshing than it sounds. Tasty and only 2.5%. RateandPillage (417), Atlanta, Georgia, USA
