Pale yellow-gold pour is lightly hazed and littered with just a few strand-like bits. Slight head fades quickly to a thin white ring. Funny aromas of raw apples and white grapes but very light. Also a hint of sourness almost as if the glass was near the yellow mustard in the cupboard. Flavor is bitter, tart, and crazily astringent. A major shock to the buds. Acetic as can be. It’s like a bad dry cider that forgot the fruit. I can see why they sweeten the stuff and yet I’m left wildly craving more!? What a massive beer for such a low ABV. FUN FUN FUN!! Watery and light, like a summer spritzer but lacking carbonation. Glad I was able to try this one out, but I’m even happier that I didn’t get it in the 32-oz. boot. fiulijn (7200), Como; Lausanne (CH); Malmö (SWE), Italy
| 1.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 3/10 | 1/5 | 3/10 | 2/5 | 7/20 | Mar 8, 2005 Light blond color; big head, fizzy, disappears quickly. Very light aroma, with some lemon (and light plastic). Watery and sour. Tastes like a weak beer and soda water. Harmless. aspidites (1274), manteca, California, USA

It had a golden body under a thin white head. Light, airy lemony aroma with white grape juice notes. Light wheatiness in the flavor’s base layered with a simplistic lemon citrus and green grape skins. A watery version of the flavor is in the finish. Simple but clean and enjoyable flavor. This stuff would be wonderful on a hot summer day. csbosox (1081), Prairie Village, Kansas, USA
| 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Feb 13, 2005 Had ~6oz pour at KC Bier Meisters meeting in my NB worthy glass. Clear, golden yellow, white head. Aroma is similar to white wine with notes of apples, pears, and lemon. Taste is tart; lemons, apple, and pears. Interesting flavor! Mouthfeel is puckering and thin. This beer is very, very tart. I can see why they sometimes add fruits syrups to them. My first of the style. dm9831 (1167), Monee, Illinois, USA
| 2.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 4/5 | 9/20 | Feb 13, 2005 I found the aroma to be quite daunting, and never really got used to it. However, once you quit sniffing and start drinking, you forget about the initial olfactory asault. Sure it was sour...that was the best part of this beer. I am glad I tried this beer, but I don’t think it is a style that greatly appeals to me. DrBeer (777), Danderyd Stockholm, Sweden

Malty aroma with notes of pears, white bread and cellar. A bit acidic. Somewhat hoppy and fruity.
Fruity flavor with notes of bread, müsli and cornflakes. Acidic finish.
