Aroma is wheaty and so is the flavour with a unique sourness. An interesting style. RAYBOY01 (1860), Chicago, Illinois, USA

Light wheaty aroma with a prominent lactic character. Flavour is slightly tart, but has a yogourty edge. Palate seems a bit cardboardy however. Refreshing beer. I’ll definitely be wanting more of these. Cletus (5058), Connecticut, USA

I had this one with an accompaniment of Rasberry syrup which livened the beer up quite nicely. Very sour and watery in taste but worth a try for anyone wanting to try something different. | 3.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 5/5 | 14/20 | Dec 30, 2004 Although I have little to compare it to -- this being my first Berliner Weisse -- I found this beer very enjoyable. Nice and sour, acidic, and some light spiciness. Very refreshing. I will admit, I enjoyed it even more with the accompanying cherry syrup. But I could drink this happily with or without. I will have this beer again! tiggmtl (4311), Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada
| 2.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 2/5 | 5/10 | 2/5 | 9/20 | Dec 16, 2004 Mild earthy hop nose (?) was not what I expected at all. Fairly clear golden coloured body with fizzy white head that diminishes to thin ring. Tart citrus-lemon flavour borders on sour. Background wheat flavour is rather cardboardy. Very light in body and somewhat thin and fizzy. Bottle. jimmack (1221), Nutley, New Jersey, USA
| 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Dec 12, 2004 Pale yellow with a good size white head. Tart, earthy aroma with hints of grapefruit. Flavor was tart, but only moderately so. Bartender kept insisting I try it with syrup because it is too tart, but I love tart beers. I just wish it had a little more flavor to go with the tartness.
Very drinkable though.
