Stew41 (899), Caulfield, Australia Jun 16, 2008 Weird. Couldn’t work this out. At first I thought the beer was suffering from a bad case of stale malts, such was the intensity of the earthy, farmyard malts. But, it grew on me - big time. Aromas and flavours both show this unique chracter and upon reflection its probably more in the herb / nettle segment. Really earthy and reeking of nature, and totally unique. And guess what? Didn’t realise it was alcohol free until I finished the note! KimJohansen (4299), Copenhagen V, Denmark Aug 28, 2008 Clear golden with medium white head. Hoppy aroma with fruity notes. Sweet and hoppy flavor with caramel and mild malty notes. Ends bitter. Quack-Duck (1978), Bodensee, Germany Jun 14, 2007 bottle with humorous label: bald headed smiling man and slogan: Bernard s cistou hlavou - Bernard with clean head. I take it, the clean head refers to the absence of alcohol ;-)
Looks really good. Golden yellow, impressive head. Hoppy nose. Hoppy taste, slightly malty. Amazingly full flavour for an alcohol free beer. I think this is the best alcohol-free beer I’ve ever tried, as it tastes much like a normal lager. Magicdave6 (4092), London, Greater London, England Jul 4, 2008 Bottle at uncle paya. Alround rating: Very light, bready and grainy pale malt character, lemon hop bitterness. yespr (7788), Copenhagen O, Denmark Jul 9, 2008 50 cL bottle. Pours clear and golden yellow with a lacing white head. Mild spiced and vague cardboardish aroma. Flavour is solid hopy and mild cardboardish. Ends dry and slight cardboardish. Good NA though.
