Weird. Couldn’t work this out. At first I thought the beer was suffering from a bad case of stale malts, such was the intensity of the earthy, farmyard malts. But, it grew on me - big time. Aromas and flavours both show this unique chracter and upon reflection its probably more in the herb / nettle segment. Really earthy and reeking of nature, and totally unique. And guess what? Didn’t realise it was alcohol free until I finished the note!

Clear golden with medium white head. Hoppy aroma with fruity notes. Sweet and hoppy flavor with caramel and mild malty notes. Ends bitter.

bottle with humorous label: bald headed smiling man and slogan: Bernard s cistou hlavou - Bernard with clean head. I take it, the clean head refers to the absence of alcohol ;-) Looks really good. Golden yellow, impressive head. Hoppy nose. Hoppy taste, slightly malty. Amazingly full flavour for an alcohol free beer. I think this is the best alcohol-free beer I’ve ever tried, as it tastes much like a normal lager.

Bottle at uncle paya. Alround rating: Very light, bready and grainy pale malt character, lemon hop bitterness.

50 cL bottle. Pours clear and golden yellow with a lacing white head. Mild spiced and vague cardboardish aroma. Flavour is solid hopy and mild cardboardish. Ends dry and slight cardboardish. Good NA though.
