Quack-Duck (1698), Bodensee, Germany Dec 9, 2007 bottle. Clear golden colour, small head. Hoppy nose. Very pleasant hoppy flavours on a malty base. Medium-bodied with a slight fruityness about. raymondwave (778), Finland Sep 24, 2007 Updated: Oct 11, 2007Small frothy head with some lacing. Nicely fresh, grassy and hoppy nose. Beautiful crispy hoppy bitterness! Some fresh maltiness too, but the hoppiness is just beautiful. Close to the best german pilseners. Very nice. pivnizub (3779), Porúří, Germany Apr 25, 2007 Bottle: Deep golden coloured, quickly collapsing fluffy white head; faint malt and herbal hops in the nose, as usual, combined with some fruity illusions; moderate bitter-sweet flavour, light bodied, soft MF, detectable malty base; almost vinous traces in the short dry bitter-hoppy finish. Rather light, but drinkable......... oh6gdx (5741), Vaasa, Finland Mar 13, 2007 Bottled. Golden colour, not much head. Aroma is malts, hops and quite strong diacetyl. Flavour is diacetyl, grass, hay and some skunkyness. Quite watery, and not very pleasant. sayravai (3037), Helsinki, Finland Feb 9, 2007 (Bottled) Slightly hazy golden color with a smallish, foamy head. Very smoothly hoppy aroma with honeyish maltiness. Hoppy, strangely corny flavor with a strange glue-chemicaly feel, like some detergent. Some honeyish malt and lemony hops, too. Not bad overall, but strange. Moderately foamy-carbonated, light to medium-bodied palate. Well, at least it differs from the masses, but the strange (or is it "striking"?;) flavor would probably more tolerable with a higher ABV.
