Bottle green, 500 ml, 12 P, contains Zatec granulized hops and hop extract.
Appearance: Pours nice deep golden bofy with very, very gentle, visually almost non - existant carbonation and very low saturation, head is initially medium, slightly off - white, beige, nice lacing, head is frothy in texture.
Aroma: Very soft, refreshing, essentail and homogenous classic natural Bohemian Pilsener. Fat, juicy maltyness and gentle alcoholic character, pleasant barley accent and floral - medicinal, pronounced Zatec hops. Inviting and noble.
Flavour: Front seems well saturated, wattery, sandy, rough, clear, clean, crispy, refreshing, well balanced and brewed, gentle malty background, fresh, highly bitter hoppyness at front and floral, herbal hoppy nose with touch of tannin on the tongue. Very dry, finish duration is medium.
Palate: Body is light, texture is highly dry, carbonation on palate is moderate to lively, finish feel is chalky, grainy but clean and highly astringent, noble, decent and really good brew but I can’t believe that it’s an unpasteurized beer as its so clear.
italianjohn (82), Bensalem, Pennsylvania, USA Aug 30, 2008 Great brew not a fliptop green bottle with the same label as the pic on this site...... pours a nice copper with barely any head nice aroma taste is slightly fruity, spicy with a great aftertaste slightly bitter and dry finish a great brew really balanced well what a find..... great czech brew 4.7ABV Muggus69 (214), Sydney, Australia Aug 30, 2008 Draught at Bazaar Beer Café, Sydney. Golden body with fluffy white head. Not too much of interest on the nose, hints grainy malt and hop spice. Creamy body, soft carbonation, goes down a treat. Nice spicy hops on the body, decent backbone of biscuity malt. Finishes reasonably dry and bitter, but malt body lingers. Quite a good pilsner. iammarc (177), Inverness, Scotland Jul 28, 2008 Yeah, not bad. Quite good in fact, but with regards to Czech Pilseners a little off the mark. bager (2028), Copenhagen N, Denmark Jul 28, 2008 On tap. Clear and pale golden coloured with a medium sized head. Quite typical pilsner - a bit boring. Notes of metal, bread, grain and hay.
