Commercial Description:
Born to create a fine lager: When your name is Berthold ’Beer’ Keller, it seems inevitable that you become a master brewer. Berthold was born in Bavaria and brought up in Belgium. Nice can! How many times do you say that? Aroma is grain and wet newspaper. Pours a bubbly pale yellow. Taste is somewhat skunky. Although there are flavours of cereal and barley. Passable lager.

Impressive cream like head. Rusty oxidized metal orange pour. Nice thick sticky lacing. Full nutty taste. Some hazelnuts. Fairly aftertaste free. Over-carbonated but rather good.

Aroma is fresh and sweet lager. Clear bright yellow with thick white foamy head that laces glass as it thins. Refreshing, fresh buttery watery lager. Easy drinking for an all day summer beer fest. It’s a lager, it is what it is.

Can ( 500ml ). Kinda gay-lookin’ can. Why is this swill "Premium?" Pale gold, large lasting fluffy sticky white head. Boring aroma - dry straw, honey, hint of plastic. Taste is watery and stale - paper, plastic and dead weeds - wishy-washy mouthfeel, dry, flat, harsh - ...................... tick.

500 ml can from LCBO. Pours a clear yellow gold with decent-sized white head; some lacing. Aroma of straw and corn. Grain and corn primarily for the flavour with some light hops in the finish. Mediocre.

Can: Poured a golden color lager with a medium bubbly head with actually good retention and some lacing. Aroma of adjunct and light cereal is pretty average. Taste is a mix between some adjunct and limited hops presence with a somewhat nice cereal presence. Body is about average with good carbonation. Below par overall and I have to wonder why somebody at the LCBO thought it would be a good idea to import this.

500ml can from the LCBO. pours light golden with a lingering white head. steady carbonation but not over carbonated. aroma of lager malt, some dustiness. the flavour is slighly worse. some pale malt but also some adjunts. not real hopping except to slightly hold the sweetness in check. overall its a finishable pale lager.
