Hazy orange-amber color; creamy head. Light manure aroma. Smooth flavor, but the malt is quite poor, the bitterness is just right, and there is again a light manure touch. Probably good on cask, not so much from the bottle.

Bottled. A hazy amber beer with a thin beige head. The aroma has notes of malt, fruit, and a bit of caramel. The flavor is sweet with notes of malt, caramel, over ripe fruits, and phenol, leading to a dry acidic finish. Thanks KimJohansen for sharing.

Bottle 50 cl. Courtesy of KimJohansen. Pours a hazy amber with an off-white head. Vaguely fruity nose. Rather light in body, dry roasted malt, a little nuts and a distant whiff of smoke. Dry finish with a discreet underlying tartness. 301109

From cask at Market Porter. Pours clear and golden yellow with a small diminished off-white head. Light smoked aroma. Light smoked and earthy initial flavour. Light smoked into the finish. Light acidic note in the finish.

BCA Picked this up from Bellingers, Jet Garage, (with Londis shop) Grove near Wantage, Oxon and consumed 29-09-08 Pours hazy reddy/brown with an off white head. Good fruity tang, quite smokey (Loz noticed this and was correct) Sweetness is there but good hops and bitterness, likeable decent session beer.
