Jul 24, 2009 Draft at In ’t Spinnekopke in Brussels. Golden-yellow with a substantial white head. Aroma of pale malt, grain, and yeast. Flavor more of the same with slight spices, citrus, and hops. Dry finish. Not bad, but this was Belgium so that wasn’t going to cut it. I demanded the beer list after this.

Jul 22, 2009 Towering light-yellow head, dense, over golden beer with faint orange sheen. Milkripe grain, planetree leaf, faint hops, but mainly dusty nose. Faint bitterness, grain and hops, going towards toast/bread. Watercress, but sweet(ish). Light, but not empty, bit slick. Very creamy head, also texturewise. Harmless, and reasonably balanced beer; drinkable and forgetable.
