Tap (part of sampler). Pours reddish copper color with an avg. sized slightly off-white head. Aroma caramel, malts, a hint of peat and some fruitiness. On the sweet side, with some caramel, malts and a little peat/smokiness. Quite drinkable.

From the tap at ABW on 25Sep2009. Dark copper red with big tan bubbly head. Light roasted malts on the nose. Tastes very sweet with roasted malts and caramel. Full bodied and creamy, but dry finish. This beer had a lot of carbonation and turned to foam almost instantly with each sip.

Decent and a very nice offering, good take on the style. Sweet maltiness, follows through with a bit of candied butterscotch, some sweet fruity notes rounded out with some doughy toasted bread in the finish. I could have a couple of glasses of this and not complain.

On draft at Bethlehem Brew Works. The beer list stated it was 7.5% ABV. I did not see the pour. I received it in a tulip glass. Dark brown color with a great amount of head. Aroma of malty caramel. Tasted sticky sweet and rich.

Had there on draft. Poured a dark red almost brown. Aroma was weak, smoke and roast. Flavor was lacking as well. Smoke and roasted malts but not complex. Medium body. okay.
