Admiral (524), Schnecksville, Pennsylvania, USA Dec 25, 2002 Sort of generally Belgian, a light golden ale with a persistent head. It was served a tad colder than I think it should have been, and as soon as it got warm enough for the flavor to really blossom out, my bacon cheeseburger arrived, which totally messed up my palate (they use good smoky bacon at the Brew Works restaurant.) Thus it gets lower flavor and palate marks than it probably should. All in all, though, it’s very good, and I agree with Setanta about the vague-tending-toward-saison style. There’s no way this could be mistaken for a non-Belgian style, but it’s be hard to really say which Belgian was intended. SETANTA (581), Allentown, Pennsylvania, USA Nov 16, 2002 Not sure what style... I would say close to a saison, but a moderately strong ale none the less
