Kennett. Had this with both syrups and straight up. I’ve gotta say I liked the straight up version best. Pours light yellow with hardly a head. Taste is lightly sour and really refreshing.

On tap at the 2004 Kennett Square BF. I tried this one with the raspberry, woodruff and no syrup. I didn’t care for the woodruff but the raspberry and plain versions were decent. Sour and tart. My first Berliner Weisse and this one wasn’t that bad (I’m glad I tried the 3 versions).

Without any syrups, this poured a hazy gold color with a large white head and nice lacing on the glass. Funky lemon, and barnyard aroma. Taste was tart green apple, some sourness, and wheat. One of the better Berliner Weisse’s out there!

Hazy yellow. Dense but diminishing head. Vaguely yeasty aroma. Some yeast in the flavor, wheatiness, not nearly as much sourness as an actual Berliner Weisse but a nice touch of funk. Little to no discernible hops.

Draft at the brewpub. Very weak beer. Had a very slight wheat taste but that was it.

I don't even know why I sampled this one at the pub, but they included it in the sampler anyway, so I had to at least give it a try, I've had only one other Berliner Weiss and I didn't care for that one, and I certainly don't care for BBW's either, I just must not care for this particular style, the beer seems flat with no head, no body, no carbonation it seems, and very little flavor, it's sour and not very pleasant tasting
