On tap at the brewpub, July 2006. Not really a Winter seasonal therefore. Soft, pinkish colour. Uses Hallertau hops apparently, which worked quite well. Fruit is noticeable but not overwhelming and not too sweet or artificial tasting. Looks like I’m going against the grain a bit (or perhaps the recipe has been tweaked a bit since the early ratings) but I thought this was a very decent and pleasant fruit beer.

i guess a decent fruit beer, but sea dog makes a much better blueberry brew. appearance is a pinkish hew, aroma is a bit of fruit, but no distinct blueberry taste, flavor is basically the same thing.

on tap-pours a thin white head with cloudy pink/yellow tinting color. Aroma is wheat, blueberry. Taste is wheat, faint blueberry. OK carbonation.

Draft at the Leigh Valley Brewfest in Easton, Pa. Couldn’t taste any blueberries but a did get a faint wiff in the smell. Bsides that a boring beer. Tasted like a week wheat beer.

On tap at LV brewfest. Cloudy pale yellow in color. I didn’t taste any blueberries in this one. Crisp. Light and wheaty. Boring.

Tap at LV brewfest 04. Too bad this came up as # 900. Cloudy pale yellow. hard to find blueberries anywhere in this one. Light and wheaty, tastes like a light summer wheat. Bland and boring.

Virtually no blueberry flavor. Kind of disappointing, because these fruit beers are often not strong enough as ales to stand alone. Wouldn’t recommend this one, not much to it without the blueberry.

Where’s the blueberry? Seriously. I might have rated this higher if it hadn’t been sold as something containing blueberries. Disappointed
