| 3.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 15/20 | Feb 14, 2005 Thanks to by brother in law for getting me a grwoler of this. Pours slight hazy dark straw with a two-finger, creamy, off-white head. Great lace. Aroma of hops, citrus, malt, some black pepper, spiciness, and floral esters. Tastes very hoppy, with floral esters, black pepper, and a finishing semi-dry astringent hop resiny feel. I honestly thought this was an IPA before I sat down to rate it today. Regardless of what you call it, it is a fine beer. Is CH-47 a code for a hop variety or a hop-contained carbon-hydrogen bond or something? egajdzis (3626), Spring Mount, Pennsylvania, USA
