Medium hop and light palate. Golden appearance. obxdude10 (1546), Pottstown, Pennsylvania, USA Jul 12, 2009 Just like the Pig Pen, this pale ale missed the mark. It wasn’t hoppy enough and lacked a deep body. The nose had some hints of hops, earth, pine and bread, and the flavors did have some spiciness to it. But the finish featured too light of a body and not enough hops and malt. hopdog (5526), Lansdale, Pennsylvania, USA Aug 24, 2008 On tap at the Allentown location. Poured a light to medium amber color with a smaller sized head. Aromas of citrus and caramel. Tastes of citrus, caramel, and lightly grainy. TomDecapolis (3127), Skippack, Pennsylvania, USA Mar 29, 2008 On tap at Allentown Brew Works. Pours a lightly hazy golden amber with a medium creamy/bubbly off white lacing head. Aroma of caramel, some citrus notes and a light breadiness. Flavor of light hops, caramel, light bitterness and something a little off that I couldn’t quite pinpoint. DocLock (4648), Lower Pottsgrove, Pennsylvania, USA Feb 12, 2008 Draft. Pours dark straw with off-white head. Aroma is lemongrassy hops, earthy malt. Tastes pale malty, with an earthy hoppy flavor that was rather unique, and some dry floral finishing notes. alobar (1006), Harleysville, Pennsylvania, USA Feb 10, 2008 Clear copper color with no head. Weak aroma of hops, citrus... Taste was hops with citrus- bolder than the aroma, but balanced, if not a bit weak. Overall, enjoyable.
