on tap-pours a light tan head with deep amber color. Aroma is malt, sweet. Taste is malty. Nice.

Deep dark red color with reddish highlights around the rim. Aroam of coffee, chocolate, and a little alcohol. Tastes of coffee and chocolate, but taste was muted by an unexpected hot edge. Not as good as I expected.

Very average doppelbock, almost black in color with just a touch of a reddish hue, soft & lacy brown head, aroma full of coffee & chocolate, lots of coffee in the flavors as well, along with notes of dark chocolate, a very roasted & burnt flavor profile as well, dry & roasted finish with more notes of cocoa & deep roasted coffee, palate was a little bland though, body was a bit light as well, but a decent doppelbock nonetheless
