Commercial Description:
Deep red amber colored, full-bodied, with a residual malt sweetness and hoppy flavor. This is an all-around Brew Works favorite. A great Yeungling “Lager” alternative. This british style ale contains a special blend of Cluster, Fuggle, and East Kent Golding hops.

On tap at BBW, a nice tan head on a copper body with a mild malty aroma. Flavor was a superb balance of malts and hops, with neither one ever dominating the other. A great mouthfeel, very crisp and refreshing with a medium body. I can see how they advertise this as a Yeungling Lager alternative, it has a similar character, but is much better in terms of balance and flavor. I would take this one if they were side by side.

A good ESB. Directly to the point and on style, but nothing too spectacular.

Ah this is just nice. It’s a relaxing beer. Tasty and crisp. A little hoppy but just the right amount. I was totally wasted when I had this and it tasted so good. I love Brew Works and Steelgarden. Awesome place.

On tap at brewworks. This was a really good bitter. As I worked through their sampler, I was getting worried from the first couple beers not being so good, but this restored my faith

Spicy. Not unlike English bitters I’ve had. But perhaps too overpowering? Didn’t settle completely well. Nevertheless, I was impressed and this was probably my favorite of the brewpub’s offerings that night. My blue star of excellence--awarded.

On tap at brewpub. Deep red amber in color with a off white head. Fruity. Malty and fruity. Full bodied. Caramel and some bitterness. Good.
